Meet the Founders

Heidi Breaker and Rylee Martin began their careers at Seattle's most well-known, high-end salon and spa in the northwest. For fifteen years, Heidi (as a master stylist) and Rylee (as a master colorist) excelled at this prestigious salon, holding several leadership positions and receiving countless awards and recognitions for their expertise and craftsmanship.

In October 2011, knowing that they had carved their names into the industry, Heidi and Rylee were ready to raise the bar. They wanted to open a salon that allowed them to create a more personal experience for their guests. It didn't take long for the ladies to brainstorm a vision that would include luxurious surroundings, an intimate atmosphere, and a group of hand-picked elite artists working together to create the perfect guest experience. Hair Republic was born!

In January 2013, Hair Republic Salon opened with great excitement and fanfare. One year later, the salon added three additional artists and opened a new location. In 2016, two more artists joined their team. Currently, five independent artists make up the salon, with countless years of experience between them. This incredibly gifted team has come together to create the ultimate in color and hair design just for you!
